Soldier Stole Military Kit On eBay

The Mail Online website reports that a British Army soldier has been jailed for stealing almost £150,000 worth of equipment and selling it on eBay.

Tarj Sevier stole items – deemed ‘attractive’ to terrorists and criminals – such as night vision goggles, helmets, armour and bulletproof plates.

Claiming that he had committed the thefts after feeling he had been ‘unfairly treated at work’, Sevier stole the kit over a period of two years.
