Cleaners Looted Aircraft
Friday, 11th July 2025 at 5:20pmThe Manchester Evening News website reports that cleaners have been found stealing alcohol, cigarettes and perfume from Aer Lingus planes.
The airline became suspicious after two of its aircraft based at Manchester Airport experienced ‘significant stock loss’ and installed security cameras.
The thieves – subcontracted workers – would cut seals open to gain access to their loot, and use tools to break open security seals.
