NHS Worker’s ‘Rubbish’ CV
Saturday, 13th December 2025 at 11:15amThe Manchester Evening News website reports that a man got a job working as a hospital’s diversion and inclusivity manager – after failing to tell bosses he had a conviction for racially aggravated assault.
Philip Waldman falsely claimed he had worked at the London Stock Exchange, the Bank of New York Mellon and Santander and had provided ‘references’ from each company.
Waldman’s line managers became suspicious of the authenticity of the references, and asked for his consent to get in touch with former employers. Waldman instead accused them of a ‘disability hate crime’, due to his dyslexia.
