Gambler Stole Thousands From Employer
A story on Lincolnshire Live gives details of a gambler who put thousands of pounds of his employer’s money put into girlfriend’s bank account, to feed his £300-a-month gambling habit.
On completion of a contract for his employer – HCG Heating Construction Ltd – he gave the customer the bank details of his partner for payment.
Police Officer Sold Stolen Property On eBay
According to Kent Online, an officer who stole police equipment was collared when detectives took to eBay to find the missing items.
PC Paul Withrington had been stealing for two years and stolen gear was found in his police van and even his lunch box, Canterbury Crown Court heard.
