Met Police Arrest 15
According to the Metropolitan Police website, police officers made 15 arrests as part of an initiative to disrupt an organised shoplifting gang operating in SW London.
Eight shops were raided after they were suspected of buying items such as food and alcohol that had been stolen from major retailers and selling them on at lower prices.
Office Manager Stole £30k
The Northwich Guardian website reports that an office manager stole tens of thousands of pounds from a business before telling them “I don’t know what to say”, when her fraud was uncovered.
Michelle Glover had made six monthly payments – each of up to almost £6k – to an account in the name of ‘MG’.

As reported on the Liverpool Express website, a man has been arrested and suspected counterfeit clothing worth £80,000 was seized during a raid on a shop in Liverpool city centre.
It’s suspected that the items, branded with Adidas, Nike and The North Face logos, were fakes and being sold as legitimate products.
