Jail For £1,000 Clothing Theft
The Chester Standard website reports that two men who stole £1,000 worth of clothing from a Cheshire Oaks store have been jailed.
Alexandru and Valentin Lupascu were sentenced to eight and six weeks’ detention respectively, having admitted stealing the clothes from a Calvin Klein store.

Robert Warne carried out the thefts over a 14-month period and sold the items he acquired from exchanges throughout south Wales.

Marius Gheorgh, from Romania, and an accomplice attempted to shoplift £500-worth of champagne from a Costco store in Trafford Park.

Carl Hestford and Fiona Kerr stole the money by siphoning company cash to a false PayPal account, but initially denied the fraud.

Gheorghe Feraru had access to the supervisor’s code, was able to process refunds unchecked and made ten refunds to his own account.
