Jessica Prince was suspected of fraud after her company’s accountant received an invoice from an unregistered supplier.

Fake Course Scam Netted Pair £200k

The BBC News website reports that a couple from Norfolk have admitted running fake distance-learning courses which netted them sums of more than £200,000.

Katie Hope and Scott Wolfe duped 900 people into paying for qualifications which did not exist, via their firms International Distance College and the British Nutrition Council.

Jonathan Parkhill stole food, clothes and military gear, including life-saving gas masks, worth almost £14,000 from stores at HM Naval Base Clyde.

A gang of security guards stole £200k-worth of iPhones but were caught when they bragged about their crimes online.

Mohammed Miah, Jaleel Khan, Soyfur Rahman and Mohammed Aamar, employed as security guards at a UPS distribution centre, brazenly drove out of the warehouse with boxes of phones.

Tesco Workers Planned Online Order Fraud

The Press and Journal reports that a group of Tesco workers hatched a fraudulent plan to steal products from their employer via inflated online orders.

Ashleigh Ritchie, Kirsteen Scott and Emma Heddle took advantage of Tesco’s policy at the time, which meant workers were allowed to do their own internet shopping orders.
