The Hull Daily Mail reports that trusted warehouse manager stole leather goods worth almost £25,000 from his employer before giving them to a woman to sell on eBay.

Many of Mark Johnson’s stolen goods were handed to Helen Parsons, who then used her children’s eBay accounts to sell them online.

John Lewis Worker Sold Stolen Goods On eBay

As reported in the Manchester Evening News, a John Lewis worker stole thousands of pounds of stock, hoarded stolen items at his parents’ and partner’s houses, before flogging the haul through a bogus eBay account.

Ashley Graham Holland had worked at the Cheadle Royal store for 15 years and confessed to stealing from the store from May 2014 to April 2016.

Daniel Butler stole 800 items including electricals, toys and games from Electrolve Ltd and ran his own online business from his home.

Fake Degree Websites Shut Down

As reported on the Mancunion website, more than 40 websites have been shut down as part of an ongoing investigation into fraudulent institutions.

One site claimed to be Stafford University – which is non-existent – and another called itself “Wolverhamton University” as opposed to Wolverhampton University.

According to Wales Online, the deputy manager of a designer menswear store in Cardiff stole jackets worth more than £1,000 before selling them online.
Scott Jones was caught after the German manufacturer contacted the distributor, who then set up a trap on a Facebook page.

Soldiers Stole SAS Kit From MoD

Two soldiers and an accomplice have been sentenced for ‘stealing to order’ more than £45,000 of state-of-the-art equipment from the SAS.
Sergeants Craig Davenport and Stephen Suffield took items from MoD stores, which they passed on to Andrew Stevens, who sold them through contacts made on eBay.
