Worker Stole £40k Of Company Cash

The Sunderland Echo website reports that a trusted employee used company cash to buy over £40,000 worth of tools and equipment which he sold on to make money for himself.

Robert Iredale had been given authorisation to spend up to £500 at a time on electrical items for his company.

In a little over two years he purchased goods to the value of £43,703 and admitted that he deliberately kept orders under £499.99 to avoid detection.
