£125k Fraud Put 25 Jobs At Risk

The Sentinel reports that fraudster Andrew Salt ripped off his employer to the tune of £142,000 – by stealing car parts and flogging them on eBay.

Salt placed orders for non-existent customers and when the car parts were delivered, he would create a return note, but the goods were never sent back.

Instead, Salt took them home and sold them on his partner’s eBay account.

The owners of H Bowers Ltd said Salt’s actions had had a ‘massive’ impact on their business and had placed the livelihoods of 25 people at risk.
