30-Months Jail For ‘One-Man Crime Wave’

The Press and Journal website reports that a ‘one-man crime wave’ has been jailed for 30 months after admitting 20 shoplifting offences and five other charges.

A court heard that one of Steven William Potter’s high-value theft involved stealing £1,000 of clothing from Inverness outdoor store Tiso.

His solicitor explained that Potter’s offending was down to his drug addiction that started with cannabis, valium and alcohol and developed into an opiate addiction.
