Account Manager Stole £240k

According to the Wales Online website, an account manager stole over £240,000 from the company she worked for, forcing it to make redundancies.

Sharon Wathan had worked for the company for over 24 years, running the payroll management and had sole responsibility over invoices.

An investigation found that there were two payrolls under Wathan’s name where she claimed she’d worked extra hours and overtime which she hadn’t worked.
