Big Increase In Fake Online Courses
Tuesday, 28th April 2020 at 4:11pmThe This Is Money website reports that there has been a surge in scammers selling fake online courses during the COVID-19 lockdown, as more households take up learning whilst in isolation.
The CPD Standards Office has said that the online learning market has become the new Wild West, where learners can easily be hooked by increasing numbers of cowboys.
Common scams to look out for include, promises of employment, fake qualifications and non-existent colleges and courses.
