Book Shop Worker Stole £3k
Wednesday, 20th March 2019 at 9:00amAccording to the Weston Mercury website, a Waterstone’s store manager stole £2,920 in order to pay for ‘a household and a half’.
Christopher Ashford used the shop’s stamp and save card scheme to recoup the money and pocket the cash from the till.
A court heard how other people’s jobs were at risk as a direct result of Ashford’s crimes.
