Bookies Worker Took £1k To Pay ‘Nasty People’

The Teesside Live website reports that a ketamine-using customer service manager at Coral bookmakers took £1,000 from his employer’s safe to pay off a debt to ‘nasty people’.

Terry O’Neill was a “trusted employee” but stole the money when a customer won £112 from a roulette machine and came to the counter to collect the winnings.

O’Neill took an extra £1,000 from the store safe and kept it for himself, later telling police he used the money to pay back “some nasty people”.
