CV Fraudster To Repay Earnings

According to the Bristol Post website, after a long-running legal battle, a man who faked a degree to land top positions within the NHS has been ordered to pay back nearly £100k in fraudulently obtained earnings.

John Andrewes pretended he had a PhD and made everyone call him ‘doctor’ as he took up senior roles in NHS trusts around the West Country.

Supreme Court justices heard how Andrewes also “inflated” and gave “false” information on his work experience, claiming to have held senior management roles and had been seconded to the Home Office.
