Fake Goods Seized On Oxford Street

The Evening Standard website reports that the Metropolitan Police have seized a large number of fake designer goods, worth more than £22,000,  following a raid on a shop in London’s Oxford Street.

Amongst the goods seized were counterfeit hoodies with unofficial trade marks and mobile phone covers with trade marks such as Louis Vuitton and Nike.

A spokesman for Westminster City Council, said: “We want people who visit Oxford Street to feel confident that the products they buy are both safe and genuine.”
