Finance Controller Stole £6.7m

James Hall stole to ‘secure the financial security of his wife and children’ but then lost most of the money gambling on the FTSE 100 index.
Hall worked for Merseyside-based shop fitting business Vale UK since 1996 and had become good friends with the managing director Paul Henerty, who described him as a “great asset to the company” and trusted him implicitly.
