Finance Worker Faked Accounts To Keep Job

The Hull Daily Mail website reports that 80 workers at a Hull plastics company all lost their jobs after a finance manager falsified accounts.

Ian Fisher grossly overstated the level of work that was in progress but understated the huge debts that the company faced – meaning that a completely misleading position was shown.

A court hard that Fisher had two previous convictions for false accounting and theft by employee, but in this instance, he did it to maintain his own salary and keep his own job.
