Fraudster To Repay £75k

According to the BBC News website, a woman who stole almost £120,000 from a Sunderland school has been ordered to pay some of the money back.

Joanne Anderson was responsible for managing the financial budget of the school, and forged the signatures of senior staff on at least 409 cheques.

A court granted a confiscation order worth £41,474 to retrieve money taken through her fraudulent activity and a further £33,315 had already been recovered from Anderson’s pension.
