Holiday Camp Worker Stole £13k

The Island Echo website reports that a holiday park employee stole more than £13,000 by simply refunding business transactions onto her personal bank cards.

Kathryn Lucas made the fraudulent transactions over a period of less than two years, and initially claimed her family were being chased by loan sharks.

A court heard how Lucas had intended to use the stolen money to help others, in the hope that it would make her feel better.
