Insurers Employee Stole Over £3m

The BBC News website reports that a former general manager of insurance firm Jersey Mutual defrauded the company and stole over £3million over a 13-year period.

A court heard how Roy Anthony Jeanne treated the firm as his “own personal credit facility”.

Jeanne had ‘unfiltered access’ to the company’s accounting system and his position meant he was unlikely to be questioned.
