IT Boss Scammed Employer For £220k

The Yorkshire Evening Post website reports that the head of IT at Sky Betting in Leeds carried out a fraud worth almost a quarter of a million pounds.

For almost a year, Matt Richmond used the company account to order Apple MacBook Pros from suppliers and then sold them online.

To avoid the security tracking, Richmond claimed some laptops were to be given to graduates who would leave the company and also requested that some were delivered to his home address.
