Jail For £1.5m Lotto Fraudster

The Property Industry Eye website reports that the man who set up bogus companies to defraud two of his employers – Yopa Property and Camelot UK Lotteries – has been jailed for six-and-a-half years.

Haroon Cassim submitted invoices from fake organisations for work and services that were not provided – amassing £500k from Yopa and nearly £1m from Camelot over a three-year period.
