Market Trader’s £21k Counterfeits Haul

According to the Bury Mercury website, a man from west Suffolk has been sentenced for selling fake designer clothes at a market.

An investigation into John Cooper, who traded as John’s Menswear, was launched following the seizure of 768 clothing items from a stall at Bury St Edmunds market.

The fake clothing was valued at £21,171.16, with counterfeit brands such as Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Gant, Tommy Hilfiger, Fred Perry and Lacoste.
