Over 2,300 Fake Watches Seized

According to the City Of London Police website, a haul of 2,361 counterfeit watches has been seized by police during raids in Leeds.

Jeremy Smith sold the watches from an eBay account and two websites but at a court hearing there was no evidence to suggest that he knew they were fake.

No charges were brought against him, but a forfeiture order, which authorises their destruction, was issued.
