The Liverpool Echo website reports that a highly-paid managing director stole more than £250,000 from his employer, in a ‘brazen fraud, cleverly disguised by false accounting’.

Adrian Platt raised false purchase orders between is employers and his friend, Bernard Giam, who then produced invoices claiming his companies had supplied environmental consultancy services.

Parcelforce Driver Stole 244 Packages

The Wales Online website reports that a Parcelforce driver stole 244 items in three months, selling them on eBay and netting him over £14,000.

Michal Biernacki stole mostly high-value electrical, cosmetic and designer clothing products, worth more than £31,000.

Thief Took Foil-lined Suitcase Into Store

The Stoke-On-Trent Live website reports that a man stuffed a foil-lined suitcase with clothes in a branch of Sports Direct and tried to leave without paying.

Vasile Baboi told a court that he had simply wanted to send the clothes back home to his children in Romania.
