Pharmacy Assistant Stole £330k
Friday, 2nd June 2023 at 4:36pmThe Chemist + Druggist website reports that a pharmacy worker stole more than £330,000 worth of diabetes testing kits from a pharmacy in Leicester.
A court heard how Abdul Nargoliya – jailed for almost 4 years – was found to have deposited £429,000 to gambling companies.
An internal investigation found that Nargoliya had placed orders for 22,000 diabetes testing kits since January 2017 but the store had only sold 370 of them in that time period.
