Prolific Thief Stole Leeds Football Shirts

The Yorkshire Evening Post website reports that a prolific thief has been jailed after he was caught stealing £660 worth of football shirts from a Leeds United shop.

Dilwyn Hoare – who has 76 previous convictions – took 15 adult shirts from a stand, rolled them up and placed them into a bag on the floor.

Hoare’s partner then picked up the bag and left the store without paying for them, setting off alarms, but managed to get away.
