Reference Was Assassin’s Creed Character

Mail Online reports that a fraudster landed a well-paid job in the Civil Service despite supplying a reference in the name a popular Assassin’s Creed video game character.

Angelica Stoichkov was paid more than £25,000 in wages after working for the General Chiropractic Council [GCC] whilst moonlighting for DEFRA.

Bosses at the GCC noticed the DEFRA fraud via Stoichov’s LinkedIn profile and subsequently found she’d supplied a reference to DEFRA in the name of Layla Hassan.
