Security Tags Used On £2 Calendars

The Sun website reports that high street stores are slapping security tags on advent calendars worth just £2 — as shoplifters gear up for Christmas.

Retail favourites including WHSmith and Tesco are among those ­fitting anti-theft devices to even cheap festive treats, including the Bluey advent calendars.

After Eight chocolates with a price point of only £3.50 have been seen tagged in some stores.
