Shoplifter Escapes Jail To Go On Jeremy Kyle Show

The Huddersfield Daily Examiner reports that a serial shoplifter was given a suspended jail sentence after he told a court about his plans to go on The Jeremy Kyle Show.

Dean Grundell, who stole from TK Maxx and Sainsbury’s in Huddersfield, is in talks to feature on the ITV daytime show as he tries to quit his 25-year drug addiction.

Grundell, who has 149 offences to his name – 63 of which are theft-related – was banned from entering the stores he targeted as part of a two-year Criminal Behaviour Order.
