Six-Week Jail Term For Serial Shoplifter

According to the Somerset County Gazette website, a shoplifter who was caught stealing from stores on eight occasions this year has been jailed for six weeks.

James Phillip Guy-Gibbens targeted Marks & Spencer in Taunton, stealing joints of meat on one occasion and bottles of alcohol the following day.

A court that during the offences, Guy-Gibbens made threats to an M&S worker and has a record of persistent offending while subject to court orders and licence.
