Supervisor’s Theft Led To Redundancies

According to the Hartlepool Mail website, a thieving supervisor’s actions cost his employer a contract and led to staff redundancies.

Mark Hesslewood had worked for family firm HES Group Ltd for 13 years and ordered goods on the firm’s accounts before selling them cheap on eBay to pay off his debts.

Hesslewood began stealing after his university student partner became pregnant and he could not meet the extra bills and mortgage on their home, a court was told.
