16 Cases Of Booze Stolen In 25 Days

The Northampton Chronicle website reports that a serial shoplifter stole an astonishing 96 bottles of booze – the equivalent of 16 cases – from three stores during a 25-day thieving spree.

Antony Cantor took goods from a BP Connect shop and two Tesco stores and his haul included four bottles of Jack Daniels, 22 bottles of prosecco and 70 bottles of wine.

A police spokesperson said, “Shoplifting may seem like a low-level crime, however the impunity with which people like Cantor operate will not be accepted…”
