Thief Stole £28k From Travis Perkins

The Northampton Chronicle & Echo website reports that a judge called a thief an ‘absolute mug’ for stealing batteries and locks from his employer over a six-month period.

Steven King took an estimated £27,600-worth of products from Travis Perkins, doing so – a court heard – in order to look after his son.

The judge told King, “You are an absolute mug. You had a decent job, you were trusted and you threw that away.”
