Thief Stole After Leaving Methadone On Bus

The Swindon Advertiser website reports that a drug addict turned to shoplifting after leaving his methadone prescription on the bus.

A court heard that Michael McDonagh felt compelled to commit the thefts to fund his habit, stealing meat, deodorant and other items from the Co-op, Poundland and Lidl.

McDonagh had been addicted to class A drugs for many years and had turned to addiction support services for help kicking his habit.
