Thief Stole Goods Worth £5.5k
Tuesday, 31st January 2023 at 7:26pmThe Greenock Telegraph website reports that a prolific thief stole more than £5,500-worth of merchandise during a string of shoplifting raids which spanned three years.
David Clarke targeted various businesses during his one-man crimewave, including Currys, Sainsbury’s, TK Maxx, Boots, The Range, Halford’s, Aldi, B&M and Iceland.
Clarke – who now has more than 100 convictions for crimes of dishonesty stretching back to 2012 — was given a total sentence of 750 days’ prison time.
