The BBC News website reports that a former Warner Bros Studio employee stole £36,935 worth of Harry Potter merchandise to order from the attraction in Leavesden, Herts.

Adam Hill sold the items on eBay, initially using a local post office but then used a franking machine to send them from the post room at work.

The thefts were discovered after colleagues noticed Harry Potter stock appearing and disappearing from under Hill’s desk.
