Thieves ‘Couldn’t Remember’ Stealing

According to the NWE Mail website, two thieves who swiped items from a shop said they could not remember the offence because they were on Valium.

Amy Jane Foster and Terrance Charles Graham admitted taking a number of items off the shelves of Home Bargains in Barrow and leaving without paying.

But during a police interview, the pair maintained that they could not remember doing so, on account of the Valium tablets they had taken.
