Thieves Stole Sports Kit Worth £2k
Thursday, 26th January 2023 at 7:54pmThe Northern Echo website reports that two family members took a teenager on a sportswear shoplifting spree which netted them a haul worth around £2,000.
Patrick Monghan, Shane Stokes and a 16-year-old accomplice entered JD Sports and took items which they either put on or attempted to hide within their clothing.
Despite being briefly restrained, all three left the premises, got into a Volkswagen Golf, which was later intercepted by local mobile police officers.
