Worker Admitted Theft By Email
Friday, 25th November 2022 at 12:18pmThe Belfast Telegraph website reports that an employee who admitted stealing from her employer via email has been spared jail.
Laura McKeown wrote a resignation email in which she said been unwell and that one of the reasons she was resigning was that she had taken money from the company.
Following her digital confession, the company’s accounts were analysed and it emerged that over £35,000 had indeed been taken.
