Woman’s £2.3m Fraud Is NI’s Biggest
The BBC News website reports that a woman from County Tyrone has admitted stealing £2.3m from her former employer over an eight-year period.
The woman – who cannot be identified – pleaded guilty to 26 counts of criminality in what is thought to be Northern Ireland’s biggest single employee fraud case.

Sarah Hardaker had been employed as a sales advisor at the Halifax branch of Euro Car Parts Limited, but an anonymous tip-off led to an investigation into the theft.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post website, a claims management company [CMC] employee diverted around £18,000 into his own account.
Mohammed Aumran provided insurers who were paying claims with his own bank account details instead of the company’s.
