Worker Stole Whilst Picking Online Orders

The WalesOnline website reports that a supermarket worker stole stock whilst preparing customers’ online orders.

A court heard how Phillip Thomas would go around the store scanning and packing the orders but would also would pick up items for his own use and put them into a separate bag.

Padding Bear Merch Seized

According to the City of Westminster website, almost £10,000-worth of counterfeit Paddington Bear merchandise has been seized during raids along London’s Oxford Street.

Council officers targeted nine shops along Oxford Street and in Central London and removed fake t-shirts, tote bags and fridge magnets.

The South Wales Guardian website reports that a ‘thoroughly dishonest’ car salesman who stole almost £33,000 from his employer has been ordered to repay just £1 by a judge.

Over a three-year period, Ceri Lewis siphoned off tens of thousands of pounds of company funds in order to fund his ‘lavish lifestyle’.

Crook Called Crook Stole £30k

The Leeds Live website reports that a “trusted” senior finance leader stole nearly £30,000 from her employer to fund an extravagant luxury lifestyle.

Claire Crook spent the money she took from marketing firm Force24 on flights, hotels, hairdressers, hotels and beauty treatments, over a six-year period.
