Football Club Employee In Ticket Scam

The Blackpool Gazette reports that an employee of Fleetwood Town took almost £5,000 from the football club in a ticket refund scam over an eleven-month period.

David Holloway – and a colleague, ticket office worker David Hart – gave excessive refunds totalling £4,696 during the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons.

‘Moonlighting’ Employee Stole Company Materials

Bradford’s Telegraph & Argus reports that a trusted employee and friend stole £20,000 from his boss by using company materials to carry out work for himself.

Matthew Long, a married father-of-five and a “pillar of respectability”, worked as contracts manager for Kwik Klik Hoardings, which provided shop front hoardings for large shopping centres.

Channel 5 Reality TV Star Stole Meat

As reported in The Sun, a woman was caught stealing from supermarkets after staff recognised her from the Channel 5 show, Benefits By The Sea.

Sarah Jammeh took £30 of Sainsbury’s meat and £70 of chicken from a Tesco in Clacton, Essex.

Gran Stole £8k From Co-op Employer

According to the Sheffield Star website, a Sheffield grandmother stole more than £8,000 from the Co-op convenience store she worked at for around eight years.

Patricia Budd – a trusted and respected employee – started stealing from the company in 2014, before being caught in November 2016.
