According to the Ipswich Star website, a woman has been spared another spell behind bars despite stealing thousands of pounds from an employer for the second time.

Most recently, Ashley Mercury stole £11,934 in just under a year by abusing her position as finance manager of an automotive parts company.

The BBC News website reports that a man stole from and defrauded his employers to buy wine for his wedding – at which his boss was a guest.

Andrew Robert Dickinson stole £8,296.09, part of which he used to buy 48 bottles of Bottega Gold Prosecco for his 2018 wedding.

The Ipswich Star website reports that CCTV caught a barman stealing money – estimated to be in the thousands of pounds – while working at a popular riverside pub in Suffolk.
