Hilary Simmons – remembered as a ‘much-loved mummy, wife, family member, friend and colleague’ – died after being taken ill at a Tesco Express store in Middlesbrough.

According to The Sun, YouTube is hosting videos that teach people how to bypass high street store security alarms and remove security tags.
One shoplifting video showed how to line a bag with foil and clingfilm to avoid triggering alarms. It stated: “This is very effective. Now you can go and steal as much as you can.”

Worker Defrauded Charity Of £54k

According to the Third Sector website, a former finance officer of a Welsh community regeneration charity has been jailed for defrauding the charity of £54,000.

Gemma Ellen Mason joined the charity NSA Afan in 2006 and and was promoted to finance officer in 2009 after her predecessor in the role retired.

Shoplifter Begged To Go To Jail

According to Metro, a homeless shoplifter burst into tears in court after begging magistrates to jail her so she wouldn’t end up back on the streets.

Julie Drever asked a court to jail her for shoplifting, then broke down and started shouting “Please!”, when it looked as though she would be spared the prison term.
