Thieves Stole Portable Toilets

As reported on the Mirror website, potty thieves have stolen 13 portable toilets in a late-evening raid, leaving a company £12,000 out of pocket.

Amy Philpot – GM of AndyLoos – said their depot in Banbury was broken into, with three vehicles involved in the raid, the third acting as a lookout.

Asylum Seekers Stole To Order

The Kent Online website reports that two asylum seekers went out on a shoplifting spree at Bluewater to steal expensive designer handbags to sell on.

Frans Epentrius and Tobias Iileka – both waiting for their claims for asylum to be processed – went into a John Lewis store armed with a pair of wire cutters.

Paramedic Stole Kit Worth £3k

According the Express website, a paramedic stole an estimated £3,000-worth of medical equipment from the NHS during the pandemic and attempted to sell it on eBay.

Rainer Morgan-Kavanaugh stole items including an oxygen canister and a heart monitor from a storeroom.

Poundland’s New Anti Theft Measures

According to the Simply Business website, Poundland is cracking down on shoplifters and is issuing staff with headsets – and even bodycams – as part of its Against Retail Crime initiative.

The new initiative will see all staff wearing the headsets, allowing quicker communication between workers.

Food Warehouse Worker Stole £15k

According to the South Wales Guardian website, an employee of Food Warehouse has pleaded guilty to stealing more than £15,500 from his employer.

Richard Lewis stole from the company over a five-month period during 2021.
