Dispenser Stole 3,000 Sleeping Pills
According to the Cambridgeshire Constabulary website, a pharmacist dispenser stole thousands of sleeping tablets from his employer over a three-month period.
Khurram Abbas was found to have placed orders for 110 boxes (3,080 tablets) of temazepam – a form of sleeping tablet and class C prescription-only drug.

The Sky News website reports that shoplifting offences in England and Wales have soared to the highest level in 20 years.
The Office for National Statistics found some 402,482 offences were recorded by police in the year to September 2023 – up by almost a third (32%) on the previous 12 months.

Paperwork shows the fakes are sold on sites including Amazon, eBay and Etsy by firms or individuals based in China or elsewhere in Asia.

During a raid at Anne Roseleen Darcy’s house, a room was found filled with counterfeit handbags, belts, shoes and purses, plus £80,000-worth of diamonds.
