Admin Worker Stole Over £16,000

The BBC News website reports that an admin worker stole more than £16,000 from a family-run construction firm, leaving the business “devastated”.

Angela Townend – the only person outside the family to have access to the company’s business account – stole the money on repeated occasions.

Iceland Offer Reward To Report Thieves

The BBC News website reports that supermarket chain Iceland will financially reward customers who report incidents of shoplifting.

Jemma Lewis – who was on a £200,000 salary – stole money from five businesses within the same family of companies, a court was told.

Asylum Seekers Stealing Designer Gear

According to The Sun website, asylum-seekers staying in taxpayer-funded hotels are swiping thousands of pounds of designer gear from top stores.
